Foals have recently covered a track which features Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker. They covered the Mark Ronson song 'Daffodils' which features Parker, on Australian radio station Triple J.

The cover was part of the You Tube series known as Like A Version which sees bands cover songs by other artists. Foals cover follows on from a cover by Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker of the Queens Of The Stone Age song ' I Sat By The Ocean' a few weeks ago on the station.

Foals recently announced that they will play Village Underground on August 25, three days before the release of new album What Went Down. Explaining the reasons they want to play the gig, the band said they "wanted to play a sweaty London gig around the album release. One where we finally get to play some more new songs"

Their new album is due out this month on August 28th which saw the band record in the south of France with James Ford. Speaking about the new album the band said "This is the record that most closely mimics the sound in our heads."
