Fontaines D.C covered classic tracks from Nirvana and Bring Me The Horizon on their recent appearance on an Australian radio show.
The band covered Bring Me The Horzion's 'Can You Feel My Heart', mixed with Nirvana's 'Heart Shaped Box' for triple j's series, Like A Version, as they visited the studio as part of their Australian tour.
Following a dreamy melody in their delivery of 'Can You Feel My Heart', the band then switched over to Nirvana's 'Heart Shaped Box', with Fontaines' guitarist Conor Curley speaking about both tracks afterwards.
“It was Grian [Chatten, vocalist]’s idea initially", Curley said. “I think the sound of that song, the kind of electronic elements and just the general vibe reflects stuff we were touching on our last album Romance, so it kind of seemed like a good place to start. And it’s a moody, beautiful song".
