In the States, Taylor Hawkins’, skinner with the Foo Fighters, was rocking a show at the Anaheim Convention Centre last Saturday in California. The drummer was playing in his band Chevy Metal, which regularly sees his Foo Fighters bandmates play in the covers band,
Hawkins messed up a drum fill and was had to give up playing a tune for a rather embarrassing error,. The legendary drummer simply ran out of drum sticks. After stopping the song, Hawkins took to the mic and explained to the crowd that he was, “outta fuckin’ drumsticks!”
Meanwhile, Foo Fighters have announced they will play their first Irish shows in four years next Summer. The four-piece, led by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, will play at Boucher Road in Belfast on the 19th of August, before a date at the RDS Arena in Dublin two days later on August 21st.
