Foo Fighters recently played a Pink Floyd classic at one of their gigs in Texas. During their gig at Austin City Limits the band played Pink Floyd’s ‘In The Flesh?’.
The band were performing last Friday night at the festival when they decided to whip out the song. ‘In The Flesh?’ is the opening track on Floyd’s iconic album The Wall which was released in 1979.
Foo Fighters headlined the first night of the festival which also saw performances from Billy Idol, Royal Blood & Gary Clark Jr. These were just some of the names who performed on the opening night of the festival.
The band are currently on tour supporting their newest album Sonic Highways, which saw the band record eight songs in eight different cities across the US. This was documented for a show with the same name which recently won a pair of Emmys.
The documentary won two awards for Outstanding Sound Editing For Nonfiction Programming as well Outstanding Sound Mixing For Nonfiction Programming. The band recently confirmed that there would be a second series of Sonic Highways.
