Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Mean Tweets’ has returned and this time it’s a music theme.
Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Alice Cooper and Blink-182 and more have taken part in the latest music edition of Mean Tweets on Jimmy Kimmel.
Music stars from all genres read out genuine and negative messages that Twitter users have posted about them.
Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy’s read out a tweet, ‘Fall Out Boy is like the Comic Sans MS of music. They’re both overused.’
Having a go at Billy Joe Armstrong, one Twitter user published the comment,
‘I left more talent in my toilet this morning than Green Day has ever had.’
Drummer Tre Cool responded,
‘I’m glad that you’re thinking about us while you’re taking dumps. We’re doing something right.’
Alice Cooper gets arguably the meanest Tweet. It doesn’t phase him in the slightest!
Watch Below,
Green Day recently shared a video for ‘Back In The USA’. In it, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool return to America in the 50’s to discover that all notions of any American Dream are just fantasy.
