At their recent show in South Africa, Green Day aimed a dig at tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Last weekend (January 19), Green Day performed at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa, when their frontman Billie Joe Armstrong took aim at X and Tesla owner Musk.
While performing a live rendition of 'American Idiot', Armstrong sang: “I’m not a part of the Elon agenda“, instead of the lyrics: “redneck agenda”.
In the past year, Elon Musk who is from Pretoria, South Africa, has played a key role in Donald Trump's election victory, which saw him become the country's 47th president of the US.
This has led to Musk being appointed to lead Trump's Department of Government Efficiency.

American Idiot was also the title track of the band's famous album, which also marked its 20th anniversary this year.
