Last night Hermitage Green performed at the 3Olympia Theatre, but that was not before enjoying a singsong with Hollywood actor Paul Rudd at a Dublin pub.
The pair then treated the regulars of Ryan's to a singsong, singing 'The Parting Glass'.
While enjoying a pint of Guinness each at Ryan's Pub, the band bumped into Rudd, before handing him a glass of Poitín, a classic Irish experience.
Check this out yourselves here.
Speaking about how this came about, Hermitage Green's Dan Murphy said this: “We had just finished sound check in The 3Olympia so we nipped out to Ryan's pub for a quick pint. Paul Rudd was in there having a quiet drink with a friend. Next thing we knew we were arm in arm with him singing songs, and there was a bottle of poitín being passed around. It must have been a bewildering experience for Paul but he seemed to enjoy the madness of it all - he's a really lovely fella!”.
It was also confirmed that Hermitage Green would perform a run of shows across Ireland in the run up to Christmas. Check out full details via their website here.

Back in May, Paul Rudd was among a number of household names who watched Bruce Springsteen perform live in Croke Park. Find out more here.
