Liam Gallagher headlined a massive show at London’s Finsbury Park, on Saturday 30th June. The occasion saw him play. ‘D’Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman?’ for the first time since 1996. On one of the hottest days of the year the proceedings started with a surprise support coming from The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft, According to the NME, Gallagher kicked things off with a raucous version of Oasis’ ‘Rock N’ Roll Star’ and ‘Morning Glory’ before playing a number of songs from his acclaimed solo record debut ‘As You Were‘. But the main treat for Gallagher’s ultimate show of the year came when the Mancunian lashed into ‘D’Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman’ from Oasis’ ‘Shakermaker’ B-side during the encore.
