At a recent Pearl Jam gig in Brazil, the band covered the Pink Floyd classic 'Comfortably Numb'. At the band's show in Porto Allegre on Wednesday night, they played the song for the first time.
The cover was part of the band's second encore during their 33 song set, 3-hour show. The band are currently on tour in South America to support their 2013 album Lightning Bolt.
Pearl Jam played another Pink Floyd song during their set in Port Allegre, this time it was a bit more obscure. They played 'Interstellar Overdrive' which is an instrumental track from Floyd's debut album The Piper At The Gates of Dawn.
Pearl Jam are currently on their South American tour which started a number of weeks ago and will finish in Mexico City at Foro Sol Stadium on the 28th of November.
