The new trailer for 'Borderlands 4', the much anticipated video game, has been released, featuring a soundtrack from Fontaines D.C.
A sneak preview of the game was unveiled at The Game Awards 2024 yesterday (December 12), by 2K and Gearbox Software.
Borderlands 4 is the fourth instalment of this gaming franchise, and is the first one since Tiny Tina's Wonderlands in 2022, and Borderlands 3 in 2019.
An official release date has yet to be confirmed, but the game is expected to launch at some stage in 2025.
The new trailer which you can check out below, features new Vault Hunters, an all-new planet Kairos, and the new big bad Timekeeper as well as new in game footage. It also includes the soundtrack, 'Starburster' from Fontaines D.C.
Last week, Fontaines D.C announced a collaboration with Bohemians, by launching a new jersey with the League of Ireland club.
This jersey was designed by Fontaines D.C's Carlos O'Connell, and will serve as Bohs' alternative third kit for the new season, designed to raise funds for medical aid in Palestine.
Fontaines D.C’s collaboration with Bohemians is to also celebrate the band’s two sold out shows at Dublin’s 3Arena last weekend. More on this from Nova here.
This also comes after Fontaines D.C. received two Grammy Award nominations, including nods for nods in the Best Rock Album and Best Alternative Music Performance categories.
The band's album Romance was nominated in the Best Rock Album category, while their single Starbuster also earned a nod in the Best Alternative Music Performance section.
They were also nominated in the same category as The Black Crowes, Isles, the Rolling Stones, Green Day, and Jack White.
Leading the charge with the most Grammy nominees is Beyoncé, with her album Cowboy Carter, which has earned 11 Grammy nods. Find out more on this story from Nova here.
