Freddie Mercury’s performance of “Time Waits for No One,” which was released in 1986 for Dave Clark’s musical Time was played on air during the week on BBC Radio 2.

This previously unaired recording of Freddie singing a different version of the song was believed to have been lost. According to Pitchfork, it was Clark himself who found it again and took on the task of having the original rehearsal piano part rerecorded.

Will a remake of the movie be necessary to include the undiscovered track now?

In the biopic that came out last year, the part of Mercury was played by Rami Malek. The film was well received by critics, fans and moviegoers. Malek received a 2019 Academy Award as well as the Golden Globe for Best Actor.
