At his final show from his 'Got Back' tour, Paul McCartney performed at London's 02, where he was joined by former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr, and Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood.
While on stage, McCartney treated fans to a live performance of 'Get Back'. Prior to this live rendition, he brandished his old bass guitar, which was returned to him earlier this year, having been stolen 50 years earlier.
Showing this instrument to the fans, McCartney revealed that it was his first live performance with the guitar since it went missing, telling the audience: “I haven’t played it in 50 years".
It was at this point that McCartney introduced a special guest to the stage, in the form of Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood.
“And what is more, we’ve got a special guest for you here. A Rolling Stone. Ronnie Wood", McCartney told the fans in London. You can check out footage of this below.
Following this performance, McCartney raised Wood's hand in the air, saying: “Thank you Ronald". Check that out for yourselves here.
Paul McCartney then introduced former bandmate Ringo Starr during the encore segment of the show.
“We’ve got another surprise for you. Bring to the stage the mighty, the one and only Mr Ringo Starr", he said. Check that out here.
At the end of this performance, Ringo Starr said this to the fans.
“Give it up. I’m off now but I’ve had a great night. It’s fantastic, playing with me old mate, but there comes a time when we’ve got to go home. All that remains to be said, I’d see you next time", he said.
Prior to this, Ringo Starr was spotted enjoying the show with fans in the VIP section, with fans taking photos and videos of the Beatles drummer. Check this out here.
This tour also saw Paul McCartney perform his festive hit, 'Wonderful Christmastime' at Manchester's Co-Op. This was the first time McCartney performed this track in 6 years. More on this here.
