Our very own Fontaines D.C. are the subject of a new documentary called Sold For Parts and it follows the whole process of writing, recording and releasing the band’s 2019 debut album, Dogrel.

NME gave the album a five-star review and said, “These five Dublin lads prove their talent for painting in far more colours than just blacks and greys, and Fontaines D.C. prove their worth as one of guitar music’s most essential new voices.”

Sold For Parts is a revealing and honest look at a group willing to open up the deepest parts of their process as musicians, and themselves as young men.

The documentary (which is nearly 25 minutes long) is put together by COLLECTIVE films and includes interviews with their manager, producer Dan Carey, and more, as well as unseen footage, and intimate conversations about their songs.

Back in December 2019, Fontaines D.C.'s Carlos O’Connell revealed they had finished recording their second album, which is "influenced by The Beach Boys".
