St. Vincent is presently playing shows in support of her new record MassEducation. The inventive songwriter recently performed a number of stripped-down, piano-backed renditions of songs from her last studio 45, Masseduction.
During an intimate show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City, St Vincent, treated the audience to a special cover. Ms Clarke performed Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,”. Check out a video of the epic rendition below.
According to Stereogum, St Vincent also performed songs from her back catalog, including “Cheerleader” from her 2011 record Strange Mercy.
