Stevie Nicks Endorses Kamala Harris
These performances come weeks after Stevie Nicks endorsed vice president Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election.
Nicks was the latest artist to endorse Kamala Harris following Taylor Swift’s show of support for the vice president a few weeks earlier.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them”, Swift wrote.
In a statement, Stevie Nicks who called Swift a “friend”, added: “Now is the time to research and choose the candidate that speaks to you and your beliefs. Only 54 days left until the election. Make sure you are registered to vote! Your vote in this election may be one of the most important things you ever do”.
Nicks’ support also comes after Bruce Springsteen endorsed her last week, while taking aim at Republican candidate Donald Trump. More on this here.
