Sum 41 have released their "final" music video, 'Radio Silence'.
This nostalgic video, which you can check out below, was shared by the band via social media, and has been called their final ever video, ‘Heave :x: Hell’ track ‘Radio Silence’. It shows the band performing in front of a wall of screens, with each screen showing special moments from Sum 41's three decade long career.
“As the Sum quietly set Sunday night, we wanted to leave you with something special to show our appreciation for all of the love that you have shown us over the years. We present you with the final Sum 41 music video", Sum 41 wrote.
This comes after Sum 41 had previously announced in 2023 that they would release one final album, Heaven:x: Hell', and play one tour, before splitting up.
Sum 41 who comprise of bandmembers Dave Baksh, Tom Thacker, Deryck Whibley, Frank Zummo, and Jason "Cone" McCaslin, released this statement at the time.
“Being in Sum 41 since 1996 brought us some of the best moments of our lives,” they said at the time. “We are forever grateful to our fans both old and new, who have supported us in every way. It is hard to articulate the love and respect we have for all of you and we wanted you to hear it from us first".
The post also added, “Sum 41 will be disbanding. We will still be finishing all of our current upcoming tour dates this year, and we are looking forward to releasing our final album “Heaven :x: Hell”, along with a final worldwide headlining tour to celebrate. Details will be announced as soon as we have them".
“For now, we look forward to seeing all of you skumfuks on the road and are excited for what the future will bring for each of us. Thank you for the last 27 years of Sum 41".
