After becoming the most watched series premiere ever on Disney+, “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” from Marvel Studios launches it’s 2nd episode this week.
New episodes of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” premiere Fridays on Disney+ and star Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier.
The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” have teamed up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience over the six-episode series.
Head Writer & Executive Producer of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” Malcolm Spellman spoke to me about creating the show and what it was like to walk the halls of Marvel HQ as a huge fan.
Spellman’s previous credits include the hit show “Empire” for which he worked as both a
writer and producer for the first three seasons, and Apple TV’s “Truth Be Told” starring
Octavia Spencer in which he served as an executive producer.
A new featurette has also been shared by Disney+ offering front-row insights to the creation of the series from Spellman along with Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, director Kari Skogland and executive producer Nate Moore.
