A trailer has arrived for Biography: The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne, a documentary on the legendary singer which will premiere at this spring’s South By Southwest festival.
The documentary will celebrate the life of the Black Sabbath frontman and features interviews with Sharon, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, Rick Rubin, Ice-T, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Korn‘s Jonathan Davis and Post Malone.
The trailer opens with Ozzy in the present watching an old interview he did in the past, in which he says, “I think there’s a wild man in everybody. I’m a split personality. Ozzy Osbourne and John Osbourne (are) two different people. John Osbourne is talking to you now. But if you want (me) to be Ozzy Osbourne . . . (it) takes over.”
The 86-minute documentary includes archival footage of Ozzy’s career reaching back to his Black Sabbath days.
Ozzy’s new album Ordinary Man is due out in February. It features appearances from Elton John, Slash, Chad Smith and Duff McKagan, among others.
“The Prince Of Darkness” comes to Dublin’s 3Arena on November 5 on his “NO MORE TOURS 2” tour and tickets from €59 including booking and facility fees are on sale now from Ticketmaster.
The six-week trek–originally scheduled for January–now kicks off in OZZY’s native UK on October 23, 2020 before wrapping December 7 in Helsinki, Finland. The tour includes stops throughout the UK and sees Ozzy return to Birmingham for a hometown Halloween show. European dates include stops in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland. Judas Priest remain as Special Guest across all dates.
Says OZZY: “I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again, but you’re just going to have to be a bit more patient. I want to be 100% ready to come out and knock your f**king socks off.”
