At a recent live show in Paris, Myles Kennedy and Slash were joined on stage by Wolfgang Van Halen for a live cover of AC/DC’s ‘Highway To Hell’.
Wolfgang Van Halen whose band Mammoth WVH served as opening support for Kennedy and Slash on their joint tour throughout March, joined the pair on stage at Le Zénith, Paris on March 29.
Introducing the singer onto the stage, Myles Kennedy told the audience, “We’re honoured that we’ve been able to tour with this next gentleman and his band, ’cause I think he’s one of the most talented people on the planet”.
Slash began this performance by playing the iconic riff from the AC/DC hit, while the rest of the band joined in. Van Halen and Kennedy joined in the chorus, with bassist Todd Kearns on vocals. Wolfgang also provided electrifying guitar as well.

Joe Satriani To Honour Eddie Van Halen
Back in March, Joe Satriani announced a major tour with Sam Hagar to honour the late Eddie Van Halen later this Summer.
The pair have promised to honour the legacy of Van Halen, beginning in West Palm Beach on July 13. It will also feature original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, and Jason Bonham on drums.
“My task right now is trying to unravel the mystery of Eddie Van Halen’s strange guitar playing”, Satriani said of the shows.
“I spent decades voiding how to learn this stuff so I wouldn’t copy it, and now all of a sudden I’m doing a crash course on the idiosyncrasies and the genius of his guitar work. I know these songs but I’ve never actually played them. It’s a task”.
