To celebrate Whitesnake’s Farewell Arena Tour with Foreigner and special guests Europe, we’re delighted to announce that Whitesnake frontman and bona fide rock legend David Coverdale is to host a new, three-part, show on Radio Nova ahead of taking to the stage for the final time at 3Arena on 10th May 2022
‘Up Close & Personal with David Coverdale’ will be a series of special shows in support of the upcoming Whitesnake tour with Foreigner and Europe, with Whitesnake LEGEND David Coverdale taking over the Nova airwaves for an hour with a special guest each week.
The first of three special David Coverdale shows airs on Nova this coming Sunday (24th April) at 9pm and will feature Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliot. Week two will feature Kiss frontman Paul Stanley with the final week featuring the other Whitesnake band members. The show will be broadcast at the same time weekly until Sunday 8th May 2022.
Up Close & Personal with David Coverdale on Radio Nova precedes Whitesnake’s farewell Arena tour with co-headliners Foreigner and special guests Europe at Dublin’s 3Arena on 10th May 2022.
The swansong tour will be a chance to see the new incarnation of Whitesnake that features Irish bassist Tanya O’Callaghan and Croatian backing singer/multi-instrumentalist Dino Jelusick.
Together both Whitesnake and Foreigner boast a catalogue that spans the decades with seminal and anthemic hits such as “Here I Go Again”, “Still Of The Night” and “Is This Love” [Whitesnake], “I Want To Know What Love Is”, “Juke Box Hero” and “Cold As Ice” [Foreigner] to name a few. Very special guests Europe will bring their electrifying “The Final Countdown” and more to this eight date U.K. & Ireland arena tour.
Whitesnake, Foreigner and Europe will take fans on a musical journey at this once in a lifetime performance. Combining arguably music’s most celebrated rock legends, this tour will see Whitesnake, Foreigner and Europe perform their formidable musical arsenal.
‘Up Close & Personal with David Coverdale’ airs this Sunday at 9pm ONLY on Radio NOVA!
