Nancy Wilson has recalled an incident which saw her and sister Ann Wilson walk out during a Led Zeppelin show in 1969.
Led Zeppelin were serving as the opening act for American vocal group, the Fifth Dimension when the sisters walked out of the show. The incident took place in Seattle, at a time when the sisters were just young, precocious musicians.
Nancy who serves as part the band Heart with her sister, spoke about this walkout in a recent interview.
“Jimmy [Page] had his violin bow going, and he was doing his Echoplex magic – you know, pretending that he’s summoning the music out of the air with his Echoplex repeat", she said.
Wilson also went on to admit that a certain Robert Plant had her blushing: . “We were like, ‘Oh my God, the singer. He’s so suggestive.’ He’s got his shirt wide open, he’s got his bare chest, and his jeans were really low riders. He was moving in this way that was so super suggestive, and we were kind of shocked".
Nancy Wilson revealed that Plant's golden hair, left the pair in a complete trance.
“We were like, ‘Oh my God, the singer. He’s so suggestive.’ He’s got his shirt wide open, he’s got his bare chest, and his jeans were really low riders. He was moving in this way that was so super suggestive, and we were kind of shocked", she said.
Back in July, Heart cancelled all remaining tour dates, after Ann Wilson confirmed she was diagnosed with cancer, having undergone a medical procedure in May.
