Gardaí in Wicklow are investigating a suspected arson attack at a home in Glending Square in Blessington in the early hours of yesterday morning.
No injuries have been reported from the incident which occurred at around 1:25am.
Gardaí have said that the house was extensively damaged and that as of yet no arrests have been made.
It is understood to be part of a feud between families in the wider area.
Speaking about the incident, An Garda Síochána said in a statement:
''The scene at the residence on Glending Square remains preserved for technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident and for any persons who were in the Glending Square vicinity between 1am and 2am and observed any activity which drew their attention to come forward.
“Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Glending Square area between 1am and 2am are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.”
