This week on Radio Nova, we have a special treat in store for you.
On April 11, the new feature-length comedy, Fran the Man, will be coming to Irish cinemas nationwide, with the trailer having dropped last week (March 14). The film will be based on the much loved TV show, Fran, which aired on Setanta Sports and TV3 between 2009 and 2011.
Written by Richie Conroy and directed by Stephen Bradly, Fran the Man will see Darragh Humphreys reprise his role as Fran Costello, as he works undercover to save his beloved soccer from match fixing. The cast also includes Ardal O'Hanlon, Ristéard Cooper, Amy Huberman, Deirdre O'Kane and Toni O'Rourke.
