Gardaí are investigating a serious assault in Ballyogan in Dublin 18 in the early hours of this morning.
A woman in her thirties suffered multiple stab wounds in the leg and back.
She was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital where she is being treated for 'serious but non-life threatening injuries.'
Gardaí in Cabinteely said investigations are ongoing.
