The body of a woman was found in Rathmines on St. Stephens Day, according to authorities.
Gardaí are investigating all circumstances following the discovery of a woman's body at her home in Rathmines Avenue, Dublin 6.
The woman in her 40s was discovered shortly after 12.30pm on Tuesday, December 26th.
The body currently remains at the scene pending a visit from the State Pathologist as a post-mortem examination is due to take place this morning - December 27th, which will determine the course of a Garda investigation.
