Young Dublin Girl Fears For Life As Thugs Attack Home In Random Attack

According to reports, an 11-year-old girl was almost killed in her Dublin home.

That was when thugs threw bottles and bricks through a house window and doors in a random incident.

Dublin Live reports that the horrifying attack happened at Moy Glas Glade, Lucan at roughly 10:20pm last Saturday.

According to MSN, a warning was posted to a local Facebook page with the homeowner asking fellow residents to share their CCTV footage.

The poster said: "We live in Moy Glas Glade. We had our front window and door smashed through at 10:20pm last night, a completely random attack."

"They nearly killed our 11-year-old daughter as beer bottles and bricks were used to smash the windows."

"The gardai are looking for anyone who may have CCTV cameras around the estate and that might have footage of a car acting suspiciously or entering the estate after 10pm."

"We would appreciate anyone's help on this as it was a terrifying ordeal that could have had some serious consequences."

A spokesman for Gardai said via Dublin Live "are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred in Moy Glas Glade, Lucan on 4 January".

He added: "Several windows were damaged at the property with criminal damage being caused and investigation are ongoing."
